🪜 Awards Ladder Guide Path

  1. All members within the Senior Section of the 8th Penang Company are entitled to pursue the following awards in accordance with the prescribed guide path.
  2. It should be noted that certain awards may impose minimum age prerequisites, except for those outlined in Year 1.
  3. Upon meeting the stipulated requirements outlined in the EPCOM awards syllabus, all members are expected to attain each award.
  4. The **link** summarizes the proficiency, service, and special awards for members over their six-year journey in the Senior Section.
  5. The awards enumerated below are categorized under the Basic Level. Members may progress to pursue Advanced Level accreditation ONE YEAR after satisfying the prerequisites of the Basic Level. However, an exception applies to members who can demonstrate exceptional achievement, either by surpassing the syllabus's requirements or by validation from an external qualifying body.

The planning and scheduling of all awards are the sole responsibility of the Awards Team members.

Requests for awards must not be made directly to any Awards POC for scheduling purposes, including retests or partial assessments.

  1. Any results obtained from sessions not officially scheduled by the Awards Coordinators will be considered invalid and will be forfeited by the requesting party. </aside>

Take Note

  1. A Uniform Inspection will precede each course and test.
  2. During courses and tests, all members are required to wear the appropriate attire, with exceptions granted only upon approval from the instructor or tester.
  3. Failure to adhere to the dress code will result in exclusion from attendance recording and/or disqualification from taking the test.

If a member fails the third attempt, they are required to retake the entire course.

Facilitation of Awards

  1. Each award may be conducted by one or more qualified officers, selected based on their availability and expertise.
  2. The designated Point of Contact (POC) for each award is automatically authorized to serve as the instructor, invigilator, and marker, unless alternative arrangements are made.
